Pa'ofa'i Gardens

One of the best known and loved green spaces in Tahiti's capital of Papeete is called Pa'ofa'i Gardens, a beautifully landscaped park right along the coast, not far from the shipping piers. There are many species of plants, including hundreds of trees, walking paths, pools of water lilies, open spaces for recreational activities, and a soccer field, among other features. Admission is free, and restroom facilities are ample and well maintained.
